The Essential Fitness Training
Circuit Training:
Essential Fitness is based on circuit style training. Each client is held in their ideal heart rate range while they are seamlessly led through strength, cardio, and core exercises that are specific to their goals. This interactive style of training eliminates the long, sometimes tedious cardio and core stints and allows for recovery time during the strength and toning portions of the workout. Balance, agility, coordination, and calisthenics are also incorporated throughout each workout. This combination maximizes the benefits of each of these elements while allowing for a limitless variety of workouts.
Programs and Personal Benchmarks:
Along with the training done in the studio with a trainer, our clients are offered personalized 3-month training programs that keep them on track on their days away from Essential Fitness. Whether the client is training toward a specific event i.e. a marathon or triathlon, or just training to obtain a higher level of fitness, lose weight, gain strength or tone up, the 3-month plan is designed to ensure that the goal is reached.
Personal Benchmarks are extremely important in monitoring progress and ensuring success. A series of quick tests are conducted on a client’s initial session and reoccur every three months thereafter. Body fat, circumference measurements, cardiovascular levels, upper/lower body strength, core strength, flexibility, and posture are all recorded to track improvements. |
